General Information

The 18th-annual Maine Brewers Festival will be held on Friday and Saturday, November 4th and 5th, 2011, as New Englanders come together to celebrate the local Maine craft beer community. The Evening with the Brewers VIP Session will kick off the festival weekend on Friday night, and the highly anticipated festival will begin on Saturday afternoon with two high-energy sessions.

Festival attendees will receive a complimentary logoed tasting glass (real glass!) with tick­ets to enjoy 12, 4-oz pours of Maine craft beer. The festival weekend continues to be a highlight to a beer lover’s winter with great food, interesting vendors, fantastic music and prizes to complement some of the best micro brews in the country! It’s an experience that can't be missed. We hope you'll join us for fun, friends, and most importantly, great beer! Tickets on sale now!!

Tickets sold after Sat October 30, will be available at the Will Call side door in the front of the Expo Building.

From Northern Maine

• Follow Interstate 295 into Portland.
• Take Exit 5a off Interstate 295 (Congress St.).
• Take a right at the bottom of the ramp at light. Take another right at next intersection (Route 22 east / Congress St.). Congress St. is a one way street at that point.
• Get in the left lane and take a left at the first traffic light (St. John St.).
• Get in the right lane and take a right at the next traffic light (Park Avenue).
• Hadlock Field will be on your left. Just past Hadlock Field is the Portland Exposition Building at the top of the hill.
• There is a parking lot between the Portland Expo and the Portland Ice Arena, with a nother lot at the rear of that lot, towards Fitzpatrick Stadium. Parking for the event fills up fast and there is usually an event at the Stadium the day of the beer festival.
• Our advice: park there early or seek alternate parking.

From Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and Southern Maine

• Follow Interstate 95 into Maine. Take Exit 44 off Interstate 95 (Interstate 295).
• Follow Interstate 295 into Portland. Take Exit 5 off Interstate 295 (Congress St.).
• Follow signs for Route 22 east (Congress St). Congress St. is a one way street at that point.
• Get in the left lane and take a left at the first traffic light (St. John St.).
• Get in the right lane and take a right at the next traffic light (Park Avenue). Hadlock Field will be on your left.

• At the next traffic light after the park, take a right onto Park Avenue.
• Continue on Park Avenue through the next 2 traffic lights.
• At the next blinking light, the Portland Exposition Building will be on the right.
• There is a parking lot between the Portland Expo and the Portland Ice Arena, with another lot at the rear of that lot, towards Fitzpatrick Stadium.
• Parking for the event fills up fast and there is usually an event at the Stadium the day of the beer festival.
